Social Media Narratives

DISSCO has been involved in the development of a series of social media campaigns.

In close collaboration with graphic design studios, we design promotion campaigns of scientific activities and R&D projects.

See indicative projects below.

Energy Lab, an Innosuisse Booster

The Energy Lab, an Innosuisse Booster, is an innovation ecosystem in Switzerland, whose mission is to boost the energy transition through joint innovations.

DISSCO, in collaboration with Central Innovation Park Central Switzerland and graphic designers, manages the LinkedIn page of the channel, co-creating concepts and claims for a series of events to engage the community.

Herisktage

Herisktage

Herisktage, is a project about monitoring the vulnerability of Greek cultural heritage to climate change. The aim is to develop a platform using IoT technology for the continuous and real-time on-site monitoring of microclimate for selected cultural monuments in Greece.

DISSCO was responsible for the website and LinkedIn organic campaign of the project.

First, in collaboration with a graphic designer, we set up the fundamental elements of the communication of the project, including the logo and color identity.

We then “translated” the research objectives of the project into visually appealing icons, simplifying the methodology. At the same time, we developed descriptive texts for the project website and on LinkedIn.

The strategy incorporated various messages and the creation of an active LinkedIn channel. We created messages with texts and images that reflect the development of the project, and highlight why cultural heritage monuments in Greece require an adapted climate strategy.

Water Scarcity in South

The ‘Water Scarcity in South’ program aimed to enhance knowledge and overcome current barriers in addressing water scarcity in Southern Europe through innovation, entrepreneurship, education, and communication. It was coordinated by EIT Food South in collaboration with EIT Climate KIC, EIT Digital, EIT Manufacturing, Bioazul, and Climate KIC Greece.

For two years, DISSCO coordinated the creation of media toolkits and co-designed paid social media campaigns in collaboration with Spanish studio agencies. They developed campaigns to engage project partners and program participants—over 40 individuals and companies—enabling them to act as ambassadors for the project.

Circular Economy Building Innovation Booster

The Circular Economy Building Innovation Booster serves to be the first open innovation platform in Switzerland bringing together key stakeholders in the building industry around the topic of circular economy. Every year, the Community Building Institute gathers its community for the Unconference.

DISSCO coordinated the establishment of the CBI’s LinkedIn page, compiled information about the event speakers, provided guidance to the graphic designer, and implemented the campaign.

Symposium Under the Landscape

The Symposium Under the Landscape aimed for a critical reevaluation of the very term and notion of the ‘landscape’ and its potential value as a meeting ground for strategic collaborations. The Symposium took place in the islands of Santorini and Therasia from 26th June to 29th June 2022 organised by Boulouki.

DISSCO, in collaboration with Boulouki’s graphic designer, developed a media toolkit with copies and banners to present the Symposium on Facebook.
