We are delighted to announce the Top 10 projects of the 1st EIT Food Journalism Award in Greece for agrifood reporting. This year, the competition received 98 high-quality submissions.
The top 10 projects, presented here in alphabetical order, are:

- Kostas Pliakos — Ακούγοντας την έξυπνη γεωργία: Κλιματική αλλαγή και προκλήσεις για την ασφάλεια των τροφίμων / Listening to Smart Agriculture: Climate Change and the Challenges for Food Security (Podcast, CNN Greece)
- Rafaella Maneli — Κορινθία: Η άλλοτε εύφορη γη που αφέθηκε στην τύχη της / Corinthia: The Once Fertile Land Left to Its Fate (Article, Inside Story)
The Award Ceremony will take place on Thursday, 6 November 2025, from 17:30 to 20:00, at the Journalists’ Union of the Athens Daily Newspapers (ESIEA). Attendance requires registration, either in-person or online.
The ceremony aims to celebrate excellence in agri-food journalism, award the top three winners, and provide an opportunity for networking and knowledge exchange. Representatives from the agri-food sector, academia, industry, and civil society will be present.

The next edition of the competition will be open for submissions from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2026, with the submission platform launching in March 2026.
